ClerkMinutes generates structured minutes. AI Actions lets you refine them. Select any paragraph. Make it longer, shorter, adjust the tone, or describe exactly what you want.
How AI Actions work
After ClerkMinutes generates your minutes, you have full control to refine any section:
Click on any paragraph in your minutes with agenda item heading. The AI Actions pop-up appears.
• Make it longer. Expand discussions with more detail
• Make it shorter. Condense without losing key points
• Add your official government meeting tone. Adjust language to formal meeting standards
• Describe your change in plain English. This is the most powerful option as its’ custom instructions. Tell the AI exactly what you want.
Review the AI's suggestion. Accept it or discard it. Try unlimited times on any part of your minutes until it's exactly right.
Use cases where AI Actions matters
Motion passed but the discussion context is missing. Select the paragraph. Choose “make it longer” or describe what context to add. The AI expands the section with relevant details from the transcript.
A 30-minute debate generated three paragraphs but you need it tighter. Select the section. Choose “make it shorter”. Get a condensed version that preserves key points and decisions.
Public comment summarization condenses testimony, but you need a specific detail emphasized or a different format. Select the public comment section. Use describe your change to tell the AI exactly how to adjust it, such as reorganize by theme, highlight a specific concern, or add speaker attribution details.
A section reads too casual for your municipality's standards. Select the paragraph. Choose “official government meeting tone”. The AI adjusts the language to match formal meeting documentation requirements.
Board member quoted incorrectly or a vote count needs clarification. Select the section. Use “describe your change” to give specific instructions. The AI makes the exact modification you described. You can also add verbatim elements in an agenda item.
