January Product Updates: Fix speaker errors in seconds 👀

We built a split line tool so you can fix the error at the transcript level. This means split the line, reassign the speaker, and the minutes update automatically.

Why it matters:

• Fix it once at the source. Find the merged line in the transcript, split it where the second speaker starts, and reassign who said what. The minutes draft updates to reflect the correct attribution without regenerating the entire document.

• Works retroactively. You can go back and fix old transcripts where speaker errors slipped through. No need to manually hunt through the draft fixing every instance or reprocess the entire meeting and hope it gets it right the second time.

• Two clicks per fix. Click the line, click "split," and reassign the speaker. If you have three misidentified lines in a 90-minute meeting, you're looking at under a minute of cleanup instead of reading through the entire draft hunting for errors.

In addition, we also improved the speaker assignment process and added more advanced word editing styles.

• Cleaner speaker assignment across meetings with multiple voices. We improved how the AI handles meetings with 6+ speakers so you're doing less manual reassignment upfront. Still not perfect (hence the split line tool), but better than it was.

• Advanced Word Editor - Minutes generation in ClerkMinutes now has an overflow menu with tables, highlighting, and advanced font styles.
